Defective Comet: more a case of “a star is born”

Tony Orrell and Ross Hughes played a blinder of a gig at the Old Barn Thursday 29 Sept. Playing as The Defective Comet (in the enforced absence of Gas Giants’ founder Will Gregory) they held a packed barn spellbound with their full, driving virtuosity.

Tony Orrell and Ross Hughes got carried away and did a compelling super-long 90 minute set; barely anyone blinked.

Don’t bother Googling The Defective Comet. Gas Giants are in some sort of online stealth mode but finding this lot on the net is like looking for a black hole. But don’t miss their sound and style; it’s seriously addictive. We’ll try to bring you more.
